1953: The Swedish Rhapsody.
Swedish Rhapsody. This is another radio favourite from years gone by! Hugo Emil Alfven, is the Swedish composer, who wrote 3 orchestral Swedish Rhapsodies. The first of these rhapsodies considered to be his best-known work is "Midsommarvaka" (Midsummer Vigil) Swedish Rhapsody No.1 written in 1908.
