Live from the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein in 2024. Masterfully performed by the Vienna Chamber Orchestra! Conducted by Francisco Navarro Lara.

This music was first performed on 31st August 1848 in Vienna to celebrate the victory of the Austrian Empire under Field Marshal Joseph Radetzky von Radetz (the piece's namesake) over the Italian forces at the Battle of Custoza, during the First Italian War of Independence.

This march is frequently played at the New Years Day Music Festival in Austria and also often used as background music in TV advertisements and programmes, a very popular piece of music. Johann Strauss was a prolific musician and wrote very many pieces of music including “The Blue Danube.”
