THE SERVITE HOUSES

Looking up Vivian Road to the Harborne Park Road junction we can see the opening of Vivian Close and the Servite Houses. On this corner many years ago stood an old house called "The Shrubbery" which was used in latter times as meeting rooms for various organisations and groups in the parish. Between this old house and the monastery were gardens of flowers and vegetables!
