FROM ST. PETER'S ROAD

Taken from St. Peter's Road the two churches can be clearly seen. The picture below was taken in 1968 showing the brick wall that surrounded "The Shrubbery". Just to the right of the traffic bollard was a doorway in the wall to the Scout's Hut and the grounds of "The Shrubbery"

As it is today but a bit further round to the right.
Of course the brick wall has gone and so has "The Shrubbery"!
