THE CRUCIFIXION
On the outside wall of the church, to the right of the entrance, is the traditional figure of the Crucified Saviour.
The cast iron crucifix came from one of the stately homes of the Midlands where it stood for many years in the private chapel. Following the war the old Mansion was demolished and the crucifix was recovered by a priest from the Diocese and eventually came as a gift to St. Mary's, Harborne. it now stands, renovated, as a reminder to all who pass by of God's great love for His people, shown in the death of His Son.
