THE SIDE CHAPEL ON OLD SANCTUARY

Statues of St. Joseph and St. Rita grace this corner on the right of the Sanctuary of the old church. St. Rita is a very important Augustinian Saint and the Shrine was opened in 22nd May 1996 and has proved very popular ever since. Years ago this window sill served as a place for the wine and water etc. before it was used during the Mass.
