"A very sincere welcome to all our internet visitors. We are a Roman Catholic community situated to the south west of Birmingham city centre. We are a socio-economic mix of families who come together to worship, pray and socialise in a very positive way. We are a very welcoming community and can offer many things to many people both spiritual and temporal.
We have a very significant history in this part of Birmingham [see history of the parish] and we are continuing to grow, so that we can continue to bring the message of the Risen Christ to all whom we come in contact with, especially now through using the latest technologies of the internet.

WELCOME MESSAGE "I welcome the establishment of this parish website for St. Mary's Parish, Harborne. I hope it helps to serve the "communion of life" for all those who look to this parish.
Contact between parishioners and the availablity of good information about the activities for the parish help to serve the building up of good relationships. While such relationships are good within themselves, they are also very important in creating a way of life in the Church which which speaks to others of the knowledge and love that God has for each of us. The mystery of the "communion of life" which the parish seeks to express is the mystery of God's own life, perhaps only fleetingly visible here and now. We do well to use all the means at our disposal to serve this "communion of life".
