and the tight, tight, razor sharp rhythms from Rio de Janeiro.

I recently joined up with Oya batucada who have been playing carnivals, clubs,
corporate occasions, private parties and weddings in Birmingham and beyond for
over ten years. You may have caught us at the hugely succesful "Viva Brazil" samba
club nights at the "Hare and Hounds", Kings Heath, or during our slamming rhythmic
feasts at the ABS Latin American Festivals in Centenary Square, the Mailbox and
the Arcadian, the Arts Fest or at various carnivals, all in Birmingham.
We often have 20+ members at rehearsals every Monday evening at the
"Hare and Hounds", Kings Heath, with many more friends and members
who just come along to play! So why not come along and join in?
