This song reached number 3 in the UK top ten charts in 1962 and is set to the tune of Ponchielli's classical piece - "Dance of the Hours".The same tune was used the next year by Allan Sherman whose song "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh (A Letter from Camp)"was based on Kvetch letters he received from his son attending Camp Champlain, New York. His song was a parody that complains about Camp Granada.
