I need a hug when Iım stressed out,
when things just fall apart,
it makes me feel Iım coping well,
and gives a brand new start.

I need a hug to see me through,
the hard times in my life,
it makes me feel Iım wanted too,
and gives me faith, not strife.

I need a hug when Iım so low,
and life seems far away,
it acts just like a pick-me-up,
a tonic on its way.

I need a hug when Iım not well,
and life doesnıt seem so grand,
it gently soothes the pain away,
and the illness I can stand.

When Iım alone I need a hug,
to make me feel you care,
so Iıll think of you and know youıre near,
as if youıre really there.

So come on round I need a hug,
to keep me right on track,
just get in touch and let me know,
that youıll be coming back.
