You will need.........

1lb. of lean Minced Beef.
2 medium Onions.
3 peppers: (Capsicums) one red, one green and one yellow.
2 good teaspoons of Tomato Puree.
1 tin 400g Chopped Tomatoes.
Some chopped Mushrooms.
1 crushed Garlic Clove.
Half a teaspoon of crushed Chillies (or Chilli powder) to taste. (Optional.)
1 level teaspoon of Italian Seasoning - Mixed herbs.
2 teaspoons of Paprika.
1 Beef OXO cube.
Salt and Pepper.
Spaghetti for three people.

The amounts, and ingredients, needed will vary according to your taste.


Method:

Fry the Beef Mince with the Chopped Onions until lightly cooked, making sure that the Mince is not in large lumps but is in very small pieces.


Put into a large pan with the tinned tomatoes and their juice.
Now add the chopped Peppers, crushed garlic, crushed OXO beef cube and all the other ingredients.
Add a little water just to cover all the ingredients if needed.
Simmer and stir from time to time for 15 minutes, whilst the Spaghetti is cooking.

All this can be thickened if necessary with a paste of Bisto Gravy Powder and Cornflour (2:1) which is briskly mixed into the simmering Bolognese to avoid any lumps!!

Serve on a bed of Spaghetti, topped off with freshly chopped Coriander.

I know that Spaghetti Bolognese is a very popular dish these days
but this might be slightly different to what you are used to!!!
I usually make up a "job lot" and put 10oz. portions into my freezer for later!

Follow the instructions carefully for a sumptuous meal for three people!
